The Home Economics, Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Professional Child Care Training Program, affectionately known as the H.E.L.P Program, is designed to empower today’s youth with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Our comprehensive program offers a multifaceted approach to personal and professional development, ensuring that our participants are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities ahead

Home Economics

Our Home Economics segment equips young individuals with practical life skills such as cooking, sewing, and financial management. These essential skills lay the foundation for self-sufficiency and responsible living

Entrepreneurship

Our Entrepreneurship curriculum goes beyond theory. Led by The Academy Builders, students engage in hands-on workshops that cover the entire entrepreneurial journey. From idea generation and feasibility assessment to marketing, management, risk assessment, and customer service, we prepare future business leaders.

Leadership

Leadership skills are essential in any endeavor. Our program focuses on developing emotional intelligence, communication, and decision-making abilities, enabling participants to guide others, influence opinions, and serve as positive role models.

Professional
Child Care Training

Addressing Baltimore’s early childhood workforce shortage, we collaborate with Active Achievers, Inheritance Academy, The Academy Builders, and The Child Care Company (TCCC) to prepare youth for careers in childcare. TCCC, accredited by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and IACET, provides MSDE-required pre-service training. Graduates gain hands-on experience through Inheritance internships and emerge as qualified Lead Teachers. We also assist graduates in securing full-time employment or connecting them with childcare programs.
