Youth receive direct career exposure to the childcare industry. They receive indirect exposure to other industries such as hospitality, merchandising, HR, consulting, real estate, housekeeping by shadowing our President and Vice President who often engage in direct contact with professionals from these backgrounds. Youth engage in the process of starting a childcare businesses from beginning to grand opening. They will visit vacant and established sites as part of the experience. Through our partnership with Academy Builders, we are training youth using the Essentials of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Curriculum, youth are interviewing childcare entrepreneurs about their business journeys and are developing business plans.
